Pharoah Sanders-"Pharoah's First" LP. You are bidding on an original copy of Pharoah Sander's super rare first LP on the ESP Disk label. Recorded in 1964, this album captures the earliest recorded material as a front man by legendary free jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders. This album is a classic, and one of the harder to find things on the collectible ESP Disk label. This recording features Stan Foster on trumper and Jane Getz on drums. If you aren't familiar with Sanders, he started playing with John Coltrane in the mid 1960s("Ascension"/"Interstellar Space") and became one of the most prominent avant garde jazz saxophone players of all time. This record is crucial for anyone into Sanders and/or ESP Disk's jazz catalogue.
