Pharoah Sanders Thembi LP (PROMO-RADIO COPY), 1971 Impulse! ABC Vinyl (VG+).
Thembi is the seventh album by free jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, released in 1971.
This is a PROMO copy of Thembia that was kept in a radio station and it was used by them to provide background music for their recorded spots. There are the words "AM Prod." written in black marker on the front and back covers, as well as some pen markings beside the track listing on the back cover, indicating which ones they had used for their commercial Productions (it also appears that the gatefold cardboard cover may have been damp at some point as it has some warping-not too bad, but there-the cover rates a VG).
The vinyl and the original plastic lined inner sleeve (that protected the vinyl from the dampness) are both VG+.
