Listening to this album was nostalgic for me. My dad and uncle played a lot of Phil Harris records when I was a kid. I loved the intense and funny way he sang, and the great rhythm. I had not heard these songs until I played this album, which I found at a Tulsa estate sale. Historic and nostalgic.
These records, all hit singles by Harris at some time or other, were released as this album in 1949. It is SCARCE, especially in this very good condition. The sleeve package can probably be reattached to the album cover. I apparently was glued. I have not tried to fix it.
Wonga Philip Harris (June 24, 1904 – August 11, 1995) was an American comedian, actor, singer, and jazz musician.
