Up for sale is a magnificent, highly collectible 1965 ORIGINAL US MONO FIRST PRESSING of Phil Ochs’ landmark anti-war folk masterpiece, I Ain't Marching Anymore.
Unlike the common later reissues, this copy features the iconic, early 1960s GOLD "GUITARMAN" ELEKTRA LABEL with the white stylized "E" at the top, used only until mid-1966. This is the definitive, raw acoustic mix exactly as it was meant to be heard in 1965.

● Condition Details:
Vinyl: EX. Vinyl is visually and audibly EX (Excellent), just shy of Near Mint. The vinyl surface retains a beautiful, mirror-like high gloss with excellent luster.
● Playback: Play-tested and sounds absolutely pristine! The mono mix is incredibly punchy, forward, and crisp. (Note for audiophiles: The rapid-fire, jerky staccato vocal delivery on "Draft Dodger Rag" is bright, clear, and perfectly intact with no skips!).
● Jacket: VG Solid gatefold cover with crisp graphics, minor discoloration from sun fading along the top; no seam splits. Please see photos for exact condition details.
History & Collector’s Note:
● This album belonged to a dedicated folk music enthusiast and musician who had an incredible collection of pristine vinyl, many of which are genuine first pressings. He passed away at the age of 80 in 2022 and I am slowly going through the records that I ended up with- I will be listing more folk albums in the coming weeks, as well as an incredible collection of old first edition songbooks that are in great condition, including two Phil Ochs songbooks.
