Description
Philles PHLP-4005. A Christmas Gift For You. Mono. Original blue label with black print. This label was only used for Christmas 1963. The yellow and red label was used starting in 1964. The cover grades near mint. A visual grade of the record is VG+ with some light surface marks. See the last 4 photos for surface condition. A play grade is VG++. It plays cleanly and quietly. The first song from this album can be heard at the bottom of this description section.

When the surface condition of the record needs to be seen I provide at least 1 photo. I take the photos outside on a bright sunny day. I angle the record toward the sun for the greatest visibility. No 1000 watt light bulb is as good as the sun in disclosing flaws.
GRADING
Near Mint or Mint Minus: My top grade. The record or cover will show the most minimal of wear. The record will have top gloss. The cover will be free from any ring wear, splits, or handwriting.
VG++ : Not quite Near Mint but a super clean, desirable record.
VG+ : The record or cover will show signs of wear but no significant defects.
VG : Obvious signs of wear but the record still has life in it. VG does not mean beat.
VG Minus : The record or cover will show moderate to heavy wear. For a common record this would not be an acceptable grade. For an in-demand, rare record it should be considered.
Good : Very heavy wear. This grade would only be acceptable if the record is rare enough that you might not see another copy available for sale or it's a rare record at a low price.
