Phillies label X-EP ~ The Phillies Christmas 7 inch 45rpm EP with 4 tracks produced by Phil Spector was issued as a promotional item and is highly sought after by collectors, along with the extremely rare picture sleeve that came with it. This legendary EP was never issued commercially and is very seldom ever offered for sale. I am offering this very rare item with NO RESERVE. This is a super example of this highly regarded collectible and one of the rarest items I’ve had the privilege of offering in my 30 years of selling & collecting records. The vinyl is in VG++ to near mint condition, only a couple light scuff’s of one side away from being perfect. I’ve included a large size scan for reference purposes which show the light marks on the Crystals side - they are at about 5 and at 7 o’clock. Record plays really super too, just a slight hint of surface noise can be heard in the lead-in grooves and between tracks. I believe this record has not been played more than a few times. Labels appear perfect, no writing, stickers or rub marks. Picture Sleeve - Sleeve is excellent, very clean, nice and fairly crisp with no seam problems at all. No tears anywhere and nice sharp corners. A few very light wrinkles and the name of the record promoter rubber stamped on one side are the only things that keep it from being graded mint.
