Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company, March of the Mitten Men, 78 Record.
In 1926 the biggest Transportation Company operating Trolley Cars, Buses, Subways, and Airplanes throughout Philadelphia was managed by Thomas E. Mitten.
In 1926 Thomas E. Mitten created the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Cooperative Band to play music for the upcoming Sentential Convention being held in Philadelphia.
This was a big event for the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company who had just purchased a Fokker Airplane to land the very first Air Mail contract with the US post office to fly mail for them, additionally they flew the very first passenger airplanes in the United States.
This 78 record is the actual music played during the convention. The band was nicknames the Mitten Men after Thomas Mitten.

One side is the song titled, “Power and Glory and the other side is the Thunderer March.
