up for bid is an ultra-rare excellent condition Philippines released vinyl of the much coveted IRON MAIDEN - THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST (Rare early press 1982 Philippines 12") serial number EMC-3400 Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band from Leyton in east London, formed in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris.
Condition: (please see actual pictures for detailed description) - I have provided many pictures so you can see what you are bidding. VINYL- EX - I would have graded this NM but some very minor dirt stains can be seen on label if viewed up close. The vinyl itself is almost flawless and plays brilliantly. COVER - VG+ The item has been kept well by previous owner. The original shrink wrap has been taped on the cover and some breaks have become due to age of the plastic. There is a seam split at the side of cover but is firmly held by the plastic sheet. Some small wear at corners.The artwork is still intact and shows magnificent colors.
I vacuum clean all the records I sell using my tested special cleaning liquid solution and Nitty Gritty record vacuum cleaner to ensure that they perform their best upon reaching their new owner. I personally go to the tedious task of wiping each cover clean, listening to each track to ensure there are no skips and would even try to remedy small pops and ticks if I can.

MINT (M)
These are absolutely perfect in every way. Often rumored but rarely seen, Mint should never be used as a grade unless more than one person agrees that the record or sleeve truly is in this condition. There is no set percentage of the Near Mint value these can bring; it is best negotiated between buyer and seller.
NEAR MINT (NM OR M-)
NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.
EXCELLENT (EX) - Just a small step down near mint grade.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.
Very Good (VG)
Minor writing, tape or a sticker can detract from the label. Many collectors who have jukeboxes will use VG records in them and not think twice. They remain a fine listening experience, just not the same as if it were in better shape.
VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written or it or stamped a price tag on it, too.

Shipping from the Philippines is quite expensive.

INSURANCE ISSUES Insurance for items is $20 USD only. If you prefer to cover your purchase with full insurance then please send me a message so I can place proper amount on your invoice. Refunds for lost or damaged items can only be covered by the insurance you choose. I will not be responsible for tax and duties in your country.
I recommend shipping thru DHL, Fedex or UPS for items more than US $100 of value (excluding shipping cost). Pls. contact me if you prefer this system and I will send you a quote on cost including insurance.
I do not ship on weekends or holidays.
