Philippines KISS Ace Frehley LP Vinyl CASABLANCA Record
Manufactured in the Philippines by CASABLANCA Records. Copyright 1978. With catalogue no. NBLP 7121
An ambitious "Solo" project with 4 special records was released in 1978. Their 4 Solo albums were released simultaneously in one day.
The record label apparently invested about $2.5 million on marketing and promotions for the solo project.
For the USA market and vinyl pressing, LP's featured a special jigsaw poster of each member that,
when you purchased all 4 solo LP's connected together into one large poster or mural.
Also included in the unique releases was a Kiss Army/merchandise order form, and custom inner photo sleeve showing all of the 4 releases.
Ace Frehley is a 1978 solo album from Ace Frehley, the lead guitarist and vocalist of American hard rock band Kiss.
It was one of four solo albums released by the members of Kiss on September 18, 1978.
The album featured Anton Fig on drums. He later performed session work on the Kiss albums Dynasty and Unmasked,
and later became a member of Ace Frehley's band Frehley's Comet. Fig along with Will Lee, who played bass on three tracks on the album,
became permanent members of Paul Shaffer's band on Late Night with David Letterman and Late Show with David Letterman.
Vinyl is in very good condition with very light surface scratches, which has common to this kind of record.
Scratches does not affect the record. Great music without any skip or pop.
Album sleeves is in good condition, has retained the original plastic shrink-wrap, with some dirt in front.
Have tape stain with dirt on plastic and near on the opening. Purple stamp with written marking on inner sleeve.
Labels are very clean. Still a desirable copy.
