Philippines KISS Peter Criss LP Vinyl CASABLANCA Record
Manufactured in the Philippines by CASABLANCA Records. Copyright 1978. With catalogue no. NBLP 7122
An ambitious "Solo" project with 4 special records was released in 1978. Their 4 Solo albums were released simultaneously in one day.
The record label apparently invested about $2.5 million on marketing and promotions for the solo project.
For the USA market and vinyl pressing, LP's featured a special jigsaw poster of each member that,
when you purchased all 4 solo LP's connected together into one large poster or mural.
Also included in the unique releases was a Kiss Army/merchandise order form, and custom inner photo sleeve showing all of the 4 releases.
Four songs from the 1971 LIPS demo for Buddah Records made it to Criss's solo album:
“Baby, Don’t You let Me Down” “I’m Gonna Love You” “Hooked On Rock N Roll” and “That’s The Kind Of Sugar Papa Likes”.
The demo also included “Beck” which became "Beth" on Kiss - Destroyer and the unreleased “Don’t Let The Blues Surround You” & “You’re My Woman”
Vinyl is in very good condition with very light surface scratches, which has common to this kind of record.
Scratches does not affect the record. Great music without any skip or pop.
Album sleeves is in good condition, has retained the original plastic shrink-wrap, which has partly torn.
Have tape on the opening and near at the bottom seam affecting the sleeve.
Labels are very clean. Still a desirable copy.
