Philips 6308051: GRAHAM COLLIER MUSIC 'Mosaics'
UK jazz rarity from 1971, the fourth album by this bass-player/composer who established himself as one of the leading lights of UK jazz during the late-60's/ear;ly 70's. Here the group consists of Harry Beckett (tp/fl-h), Alan Wakeman (ts/ss), Bob Sydor (as/ts), Geoff Castle (p), Collier (b) and John Webb (d). It was recorded at sessions during December 1970. This is an UK 1st Philips stereo pressing with black/silver label. There was no mono pressing of this issue.
Side 1 'Mosaics parts 1-5'

CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is EtoE- (VG+toVG) with some light scratches, visible under a bright 'grading' light. There are some heavier looking ones on side 2 particulalrly. These have some affect on the playing. Also, there is some surface dirt/dust. This disc would benefit from being cleaned. The cover is E+ (VG++), with slight surface scratching/creasing/rubbing. There is a small amount of slight residue from a sticky label in the top left hand corner of the front.
