normally I would never bother to auction such a heavy box as postage is the problem, but This is  Knappertbusch ! 1962 Bayreuth performance of Parsifal 

RARE UNITED KINGDOM  HI FI PLUM LABEL (Curved print "HI-FIStereo maroon and silver label  PRESSINGS 1Y 2 Y pressings !!!   SAME stamper codes as the Holland pressing, (a copy of which I auctioned back in September!!

For those interested in other bayreuth Philips recordings, I have late Box sets of Varviso and Sawallisch  etc,  talk to me if you want details.

By a sheer stroke of luck 2 weeks after I obtained this box set from a professional violinist with an audiophile husband, I also obtained another set with VG+ to NM discs with a very crushed box of this same edition.  ANYONE looking for individual discs needed to make up a UK box set that has a damaged disc, talk to me !!!!  I willl sell the individual discs from the otjher set as spares to anyone interested.

ALL DISCS  regarded as NM  (visual grading, ALL 5  LP's test played completely)

THERE is the strong chance due to lack of spindle trails or wear on centre hole MOST of these lp's have never been played 

THE BOX.........VG downgraded only due to the bottom corner rubbed through to plain card and one split corner on lid, see photo's , black bound box with ONE CORNER  SPLIT and minor  shelf wear.

INSERT BOOKLET, NM (see photo)  Same booklet as the Holland pressing no reference to the SAL UK stock numbers. 

RECORDS ALL 5 Lp's FULLY TEST PLAYED.

 

Listed in Australia  as overseas postage on 2kg even as surface (sea) mail is going to be prohibitive, but if you are international bidder and don't 'mind' the postage costs   'go for it' !!

NOTE ! WORLDWIDE Airmail post after the package goes over 2KG, the price per 500gm for additional weight is HALF PRICE, so this ia a good way to kick start a multiple purchase and add extras at discount POST. I regularly compile auctions and Buy it Now listings to ASIAN zone and 25 Lp's are about 6.5kg on average, and the end up in airmail at about $4AUD per LP, and THAT is a significant saving over single LP post rates of around $16 per individula airmail LP to the same Asian Zones.
