Philips Hi-Fi Mozart violin sonatas Grumiaux Haskil
Philips Hi-Fi stereo first edition 835 103 AY. made in holland. Mozart violin sonatas KV 378, 304, 376 and 301. Arthur Grumiaux, Clara Haskil. Ultra rare!
The sleeve is VG+. It has no big tears but it has water damage, most notably on the back side (see photo's)
The record comes in a original philips inner sleeve.
The record is shiny, with only a few very superficial marks, and one tiny 5mm mark during track 2 on side 1, giving some soft ticks. The records also has light heat damage, the surface has some light bubbling on one place at the edge, and a very light warp. This results (on my system) in a moderate low frequency rummble at the start of both sides, decreasing during the first minutes. In my opinion still a very acceptable copy of this record, but do not bid if you want a NM record!
It is difficult to give a definitive grade, as the level of the defects will depend on the playback system used. On my system, I would grade the record VG+

I use Dutch TNT priority airmail, to the Us this is about 11 euro's or 16 dollars. I use new cardboard lp packaging boxes.
Grading:
- M: never used. I don't use this grade unless the record is sealed
- NM: No visible or audible faults
- EX: Record has clearly been used, but has no major audible faults, some non sounding marks possible, maybe some dirt or light surface noise (especially on older mono record, surface noise is quite normal).
- VG: Light audible faults, ticks or surface noise
- G: scratches, etc. I don't sell record in this condition, unless they are very special and collectible.
