Philips Records stereo 5 disc boxed set, 835 220/224 AY (SAL 3475-9), dark maroon label discs with HI-Fi Stereo logo pressed in England. Box has Hi-Fi Stereo logo. Wagner Parsifal, complete opera, with Jess Thomas in the title role. Hans Knappertsbusch conducts the chorus and orchestra of the Bayreuth Festival. See pics for complete cast and program details.
A legendary performance, considered by many to be the definitive recording of this massive work. Very hard to find in the Hi-Fi Stereo pressing. A beautiful copy. Don't miss it!
