Description
This is Contemporary Records M3611, Phineas Newborn Jr.The Great Jazz Piano, an yellow label, deep groove original mono issue featuring LeRoy Vinnegar, Sam Jones, Milt Turner and Louis Hayes. The record is in near mint condition, showing only 2 light paper sleeve marks and playing quietly throughout. The labels are perfect. The original cover has a small bit of edge wear around the seams, but is otherwise excellent and intact. This is a beautiful collector's grade copy of a hard to find original issue offered without a reserve price. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
