Description

Hi. Up for auction is my Metal Box by Public Image Limited. This is the original release from 1979 and NOT the recent re-issue. The item overall is in excellent condition. The 3x 12 inch (45RPM) records are in superb condition and will really impress (especially Jah Wobble's basslines!!) on any decent turntable. The records are separated by the original paper inserts (4 of) and the original track listing is also present. The 'Metal Box' canister (designed to be like a camera film type container) is in excellent cosmetic condition although tarnish is present on the underside of the lid. I feel it only fair to mention that the exterior of the canister has had a light spray (done by myself). This was done for genuine reasons and done well. The "METAL 1" sticker is not present on the rear of the canister but, as you can see on the last photo, the sticker was once there.
