Description

PiL's iconic 1979 album "Metal Box" is a limited edition first pressing vinyl LP set (catalogue number METAL1). The black vinyl records have been well-preserved and graded Near Mint (NM or M-) for their exceptional fidelity. This avant-garde album, released on Virgin Records, features full-range stereo sound and includes original inner separation sheets and a printed insert page. The 12" LPs are housed in a metal box case (film can), which is in Good condition, with oxidization (as shown) that all original releases seem to develop over the years. I always kept mine in the plastic sleeve.  With dub, experimental, post-punk, and electronic influences, this album is a must-have for any serious collector or fan of PiL.
NOTE: I've included one image of one of the records. All records in the set are of the same mint or near-mint quality.

  •                         Not all of my CDs, DVDs, vinyl albums, programs, comics, etc. are in the pristine condition that some collectors are after, and I do not claim to provide professional grading.
  •                         All my auction items are in my opinion, VG or better condition unless noted. Otherwise, there is normal shelf-ware and average use, and often much less.
  •                         I do my best to note any obvious issues as a music and movie fan and not as a serious collector or investor in collectibles. So the condition is as shown in the images.
  •                         I simply can't hold onto them forever, and I hope someone can enjoy and appreciate them as entertainment time capsules of the day.
