On the big horizon of Library Music, this is one of the few "Concept" albums within this genre. Soundtrack genius Umiliani creates a superb kaleidoscope of city impressions, from cool modal jazz to up tempo big band soundtrack style. The funk tracks have hypnotic hip hop drum patterns & are full of Hammond breaks & electronic moog effects! Totally rare and highly recommended! Include the killer electronic hip hop killer track ‘Centrali termiche’ plus many great jazz-funk & Italian bossa nova. The music was used as a soundtrack to various documentaries on Italian television, the most important of which was "L'Automobile" dedicated to FIAT in 1977. Featuring among others, Oscar Valdambrini, Enrico Pierannunzi, Bruno Tommaso.
