Strimer: Flight of the Bumble Bee; Saint-Saens: The Swan; Faure: Berceuse; Granados arr. Fournier: La maja dolorosa; Granados arr. Cassado: Intermezzo; Kreisler arr. Fournier: La Gitana. Pierre Fournier, cello & Gerald Moore, piano.

Side 1. Pretty shiny but there is a light background noise with soft ticks and occasional soft ticking, more audible ticks in Chopin. No spindle marks.

Side 2. Better side but there is still a light background noise and occasional ticks. No spindle marks.

So all in all this is VG. Still very enjoyable disc if not perfect.

Cover is NM- with light ring wear.

I have collected records for 30 years and my late father collected them over 50 years. When I inheritated my father´s collection I realised that something must go as our collections together make some 8000 records and CD´s and there are many duplicates.

I try to give a honest description of records. So there will be no records which are sold as ”Mint” and as you play them you will find them to be much worse. Visually perfect records have only been tried out here and there but the rarer ones have been played all through. In grading I use ”Goldmine grading guidelines”.

Please notice that I use Mint- as my highest grading as these are used records and I myself find it hard to believe that you can call thirty-forty years old records ”Mint” as many do.
