1st Press Pink Floyd Piper At The Gates Of Dawn on the Black/Blue Columbia label. 'Sold In UK...' Label text.

MEGA 1st Press Ernest J Day Sleeve with NO 'File Under Popular' on top flipover.
Sleeve Grading : This highly sought after earliest 1st press sleeve is usually found to have dulled and edges worn and corners chewed away, but here is a great example of this rare sleeve. It is not Mint but is certainly in Very Good condition with only very light creasing in a few places, the sleeve still retains its glossy finish, opening edge corners and the opening edge show only minor wear, Spine is still formed and strong and fully readable, bottom edge is split slightly but this isnt noticable unless you are looking directly at the edge. Back of sleeve has a couple of faint circle marks and a name written quite faintly, appart from that it is clean and crisp. Very rare earliest sleeve, it has been stored away for years.
Inner sleeve is the original Black and White EMI advertising one. slight seem splits but flat and generally clean.
Vinyl Grading Under strong lamp :
Side 1 has 2/3 light hairlines, these are non feelable and only really seen under strong lamp, also has a few very light paper sleeve removal marks/scuffs certainly rates Very Good (Conservative Grading)
Side 1 Label : No wear or damage, spiders legs present under strong light, Excellent.
Side 2 has again 2/3 light hairlines and a few very light paper sleeve removal marks/scuffs. Also Very Good (Conservative Grading)
Side 2 Label : shows spiders legs in strong light, very slight wear to the KT code.
A truely great copy of this album, they dont come along often and although not perfect it is still in Very Good condition, dont miss this chance.
It will be sent out in sturdy record mailer with stiffners and record out of sleeve in pvc sleeve to prevent any damage in the mail.
