What to buy for the Pink Floyd lover for Christmas??
I am listing some rare Floyd titles this week, most on a 5 day auction, ending on Sunday evening. I am starting each listing at just £30, and let the open market place decide it's value to them. Part of unsold stock from a record store which has closed down in Newcastle.
So, for sale here we have an unusual and very rare double album released on multi-colour vinyl. This amazing artwork and vinyl is a live recording of Floyds 1974 Wembley concert, featuring the entire "Dark side of the moon" and an encore of "Eclipse". The artwork on this album is simply sensational. I have taken photos of the sealed copy, but the interior photos come from my own personal copy. I am presuming that the sealed copy is identical inside, but possibly the vinyl colours differ? I do not know. This is part of a very limited edition release of just 300 copies, and this is number 95 of 300. The high quality gloss cover is in perfect condition, as is everything else. Included are the superb "pop-up" images in the centre-fold, the multi-coloured picture disc, pressed on 180 gram virgin vinyl, a commemorative "First man on the moon" postcard with stamp and an anastatic reproduction poster of the concert.
Entitled "Dark side of the moon 50th anniversary". Some of the limited edition have a red seal, some have a green seal. I do not know if this relates to the vinyl colour, or what. Just that it was released in limited numbers of 300 per seal colour. The one that is pictured (opened) had a red seal. For the silver surfer in the pop-up, I am sure true Floyd fans will know the significance of that without me telling them!!
This is a deluxe album pressing on 180gram vinyl. The vinyl is pressed on multi-coloured vinyl to one side, with a picture disc on the reverse side. The packaging and artwork is pretty sensational.
This is a strictly limited edition of just 300 copies. This particular one is numbered 95 out of 180.
This has never been played, or even taken out of its outer cover but is housed in a plastic outer cover (which can be re-sealed). The disc should be absolutely mint as it has never been played. As this has never been opened or played, I would make a reduction in the refund, purely as it would then NOT be a sealed copy.
This piece is a real work of art and highly collectable. The artwork, and indeed, the whole contents is stunning.

If the postage turns out to be less than the quoted figure, I will refund the difference immediately. I accept returns without question, and refund accordingly.
