Description: Here we have an absolutely stunning example of Pink Floyd's double album - 'A Nice Pair' including both of their two first albums; 'A Piper at The Gates of Dawn' and ' A Saucerful of Secrets' in Excellent condition. This is the original 1967 U.K. FIRST PRESS with the 'dentist' album cover. 
First Press information The very earliest copies have a picture of a Mr. W.R. Phang's dental surgery on the cover (a genuine business), but Dr. Phang objected because dentists were not allowed to advertise, and the picture was replaced in later issues with one of a monk. The gatefold sleeve displays the suggested but previously unused album artwork.

SLEEVE:  EX This 1967 gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It is the 'dentist' first press edition and includes ‘W.R. Phang’ top right corner. The spine, corners and edges are clean with no tears or rips and only some very light storage wear. A fantastically well looked after copy! There is a name written in biro on the left inside of the sleeve (see photos). There is also biro on the plain, cardboard insides of the outer sleeve (where the record sits) this is only visible when getting the vinyl out/ putting it away. Overall this is a very well preserved, original, first press sleeve. VINYL:    EX/ EX The vinyl test plays beautifully with crystal clear audio, no jumps, no pops, no loud crackling and only very minimal background noise between the tracks. Visually there are a few very light surface scratches which do not affect the sound. This is an absolutely fantastic playing copy of this album! INNER SLEEVE:   EX/ EX Original, die cut EMI photo inner sleeves, name written in biro on inside edge - visible only when getting the vinyl out/ putting it away. Otherwise both have been very well kept and are in excellent condition.

We mail everything using the BEST QUALITY (music industry standard) packaging materials - sturdy cardboard record mailers with two added cardboard stiffeners for 12" LP's and 7" singles. We always remove the vinyl from the album cover and the original/ collectable inner sleeves (where present) to prevent damage to these during transit. During this time the record will be protected in a plastic anti static inner sleeve which doubles up as an album cover once it has arrived!
We mail everything using the eBay Shutl - 3-5 day TRACKED courier delivery service (via My Hermes) which includes standard compensation of up to £25.  *However if you wish to purchase extra insurance to cover the full cost of a listing please contact us for a quote*

GRADING SYSTEM
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
