PINK FLOYD A Saucerful Of Secrets LP 1969 UK STEREO 

1969 pressing on the Columbia label SCX 6258 

Housed in original “flip-back” Cover.

A UK Stereo re-pressing from early 1969 with black and silver Columbia label. 

Sleeve Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd sleeve identical to original 1968 Black & Blue label Columbia Pressing (most likely printed as a large batch, and used for later pressings, as here)

Label has single boxed EMI label and 'Sold In U.K. Subject To Retail Price Conditions, See Price List.' at bottom. 

Matrix Numbers : YAX 3633-1 / YAX 3634-1

CONDITION: (See photos)

Sleeve: Very Good+ (VG+) Laminate shows real brilliance, and has been housed in heavyweight PVC sleeve since around 1980 (when I acquired this LP). There is no tell-tale “thumb crease” from multiple usage in middle of sleeve, as seen on so many laminated sleeves from this period. I would have graded this Near Mint, but for a few age-related minor imperfections at opening, and some smaller creases.

Record: Excellent (EX). I would have graded this NEAR MINT as it is so clean, and virtually unplayed, save for some very minor surface marks and a small number of spindle marks on the label.

Inner sleeve is plain white with open circled centre, age wear (again) suggests that this may have been with the LP from new (and has certainly since I’ve had it).

All in all this is a VERY CLEAN copy of an album that was pressed 50+ years ago, and rare to find in this sort of condition.
