Description
Side 1 = XAX 3633 - 1 . Mothers/stampers = 1 H
Side 2 = XAX 3634 - 1. Mothers/stampers = 1 with a 2 just below it at 9 o'clock and an O at 3 o'clock.
Sleeve =
35 mm split at top spine , some thumb creasing at the opening, a tiny 7mm split at the opening. Some creasing around the vinyl, please refer to the pictures.
EMI sepia company inner is very nice with no spine splits, just a tiny 2 mm nick at the opening and a couple if areas of slight creasing, there was probably a name once written which is covered by white correction tape. The inner will be preserved for you.
Vinyl = G. Record Collector Grading.
The Record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
My grading.
The vinyl is covered in light scratches and scuffing, it plays through fine but expect light crackle throughout to avoid disappointment.
If you have a mode (mono/stereo) switch on your amplifier it will sound much better in true mono.
Audio
Side 1. There is light static at the intro which can also be heard in the quieter passages for the first half of the track. The dead wax between tracks 1 and 2 is fine. Once track 2 gets going the static comes back in the quieter passages. Once you get to track 3 the static becomes more apparent as it is a very quiet track, it continues through track 4.
Side 2. This plays much nicer, there is a light rotational click at the 3rd section of track 1. It fades in and out a bit and disappears after about 30 rotations - not too intrusive. There is a small biro mark to the centre of the label - not easy to see.
So, the audio on side 2 is clearly better than side 1 and as a whole grades an all round G.
