Description

Finally got round to listening and photographing this album.  I have looked at record grading  guides, and I would say Side 1 is VG+,  Side 2 is VG and the sleeve is VG.   Side 1 looks and sounds good, just isolated crackle occasionally - any marks are extremely light.  There is some marking around the spindle hole.  Matrix number XAX 3633-1 and a letter P. Side 2 unfortunately has a couple of definite scratches (track 1 and track 2 going into 3) - I have tried to photo one of the marks - they are each less than 1cm length. Side 2 also has a few longer but much lighter lines across the playing surface.  None of these marks causes my tone arm to jump, but they can be heard briefly during play.  Matrix number XAX 3634-1 and the numbers 1 (above a) 2 and possibly a faint letter H elsewhere. The sleeve has several long crease marks in the laminate, and each of the 4 corners is worn.  The open edge is ragged but there are no tears and no writing that I can see.  There is a bit of a rub mark on the back of the cover (see final photo). The inner sleeve is not the advertisement sleeve, so I guess this is not original. Really I would say that the marks on the record do not detract from the music - the vast majority of the record is click-free, and it may well be that a deep clean would improve it further. I will post Special Delivery Signed For in a purpose made cardboard record mailer with additional stiffeners.
