Hi Folks..!

Over the coming weeks and months I'm selling a large record collection for an uncle.  He's been a keen record collector from the 60's and his collection includes lots of Rock/Prog Rock/Beatles and  much more. Plenty of rarities and Mostly first or early press, all bought from new at time of release. Most havent been played for 20-30 years and range from very good condition up to near mint. I will grade them all individually, fairly and conservatively but they are all only graded visually. So please keep an eye out in the coming weeks and grab that elusive record for your collection!

Matrix No's

Side 1) XAX 3633-1 with M1 stampers

Side 2) XAX 3634-1 with R1 stampers

These Matrix numbers place it super early in the First Pressing referenced from the "Pink Floyd Archives"

This has the Black and Blue Columbia labels with silver writing. It has the miss-spelling of Gilmour as "Gilmore" on both the labels and sleeve and all song credits are credited incorrectly to "Magdalane Music" which was corrected on later issues. Text around the edge of the labels starts with The Gramophone Co LTD and also carries the "Sold in the U.K." text and "Made in Gt Britain" text

The Outer sleeve is in "Excellent" condition given its age. There are no rips or seam splits and the spine is fully intact. It is made by Garrod & Lofthouse and is laminated to the front with a flipback to the matt reverse and has the File under popular text to the top right flip back with Printed and Made by Garrod & Lofthouse ltd patents pending to the bottom right.

It also comes with its Original EMI album advertising inner sleeve which has seam splits to both sides but is otherwise not too bad.

The vinyl itself however can only be rated as fair. It has lots of surface marks to both sides, no really deep scratches but plenty of light hairlines on both sides. It has obviousley been played a lot and I feel there will at least be some background noise though I cannot play it to check. Both labels are in Excellent condition with some spindle trails.

All in all this is still a Fair copy of this ultra ultra rare Floyd original and would make a great collection "Filler"

Given its rarity and condition I have put a fair low starting price. Mint copies of this record will sell for many hundreds of pounds so this is an opportunity to bag this one for your collection!

I will post to most locations abroad but there are some exceptions. 

I will post all of the records in proper record mailers with extra stiffeners and marked fragile. I will be mainly using Royal Mail second class recorded in the UK and International signed for small packets for abroad. although for the more valuable records this will be upgraded to First class signed for in the UK. All postal prices will be quoted in the listing.

I will offer combined postage if someone wins more than one record, but bear in mind Royal Mail charge for weight so its not always much cheaper and I will reserve the right to post some records individually for maximum protection especially the rare ones!
