PINK FLOYD       (  Very Rare UK 1st Pressing of this classic second album from Pink Floyd ! A superb follow up from their debut album ' Piper ' .Ultra Rare earliest issue with Blue Columbia Labels , complete with correct Garrod & Lofthouse cover and EMI advertising inner , all in lovely condition ! Not only is this an original 1st pressing in super condition but it's the super rare earliest issue with the Printing error for Dave Gilmour !  Spelt ' Gilmore '  !  This error is on both the Cover and Labels !!! impossible to find.

COVER

This is an original laminated front, matt rear ,tri-flapped Garrod & Lofthouse cover. A clean and bright example of this classic 2nd album cover designed by ' Hipgnosis ' The laminate is nice a bright with no lifting , tears etc and just a couple of tiny stress creases from the spine edge , clean sharp corners with only a hint of wear , fresh rear panel with no writing, stains, tears or stickers ! the flaps are all intact and in super condition as is the spine , fully readable text , strong  shape with pinched ends ! Overall a super example  (see-pics)  EXCELLENT PLUS  CONDITION !

Both sides have a rich glossy shine and look very clean and fresh.Closer inspection under bright lighting reveals a couple of small surface marks and a couple of light fingrnail rub lines all of which do not affect the audio quality and apart from these both sides look very clean , with no nasty scratches or deep scuffing . Both sides play through with no pops , clicks or repeats , however there is a little light crackle here and there and 2 -3 tiny soft clicks , but overall this is a very nice sounding copy of this classic prog album and in my opinion equally as good ( if not better ) than piper.Again classic tracks mainly pioneered by the great 'Syd Barrett '. Overall a realy nice example way above the average condition offered and with the Rare miss-print on both labels and cover ! ( see-pics)  Visualy and Audibly EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION

LABELS

 Original early 1st issued Blue Columbia labels with the Gramophone rim text and sold in uk ..... with no  KT tax code present on either side .Both labels are in super clean and bright condition with No writing , stickers or stains and just some light miss-aimed spindle traces to fault , a very clean set with Printing Error !!!  ( see-pics)  EXCELLENT MINUS  CONDITION

GRADING:

ITEMS ARE  GRADED USING THE UK RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM.ALL ITEMS ARE PLAY GRADED AT VOLUME AND ARE VISUALY INSPECTED BOTH IN DAYLIGHT AND UNDER STRONG LIGHTING WITH DETAILED DESCRIPTION.

PACKING:

DISCS ARE ALWAYS REMOVED FROM THEIR COVERS AND HOUSED IN PROTECTIVE PLASTIC SLEEVES.THEY ARE THEN PLACED BETWEEN RIGID CARD STIFFERNERS AND THEN CAREFULLY PACKED IN STRONG PROFESSIONAL CUSTOM MADE BOXES. THUS GIVING MAXIMUM PROTECTION, SO YOU RECIEVE THE ITEM IN THE SAME CONDITION AS IT LEFT US.
