Pink Floyd - Animals
I am pleased to offer for sale this exceptional 'day of release' example of Pink Floyd's tenth studio album: Animals.
As is shown below, the album features all the signs of a true UK first pressing. It is difficult to find such records in such fantastic condition - here is a great chance to get your final upgrade copy!

Mother & stamper codes: 1 GTT / 4 GRP
Vinyl Weight: 146g
The matrix numbers inform us that the vinyl is a UK first pressing crossover (side 2 second). The mother & stamper codes suggest that the record was produced relatively early in the production run. Consequently, the audio reproduction is fantastic! Take a listen yourself below!
The labels are the first variant which feature panoramic pictures.
The sleeve is the first variant without a barcode and with a wide spine.
Completing the album is the original card lyric inner sleeve, with a notch to the top edge and with four rounded corners.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT +
Labels: MINT -
The labels are bright, clean and without writing. No spindle wear is visible.
Visual: EXCELLENT
The record retains superb deep-gloss playing surfaces. In bright daylight there only a couple of light surface marks can be seen to either side. Under the glare of a halogen desk lamp wispy light paper hairline marks can be seen alongside an iridescent rainbow sheen. Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

As can be heard in the audio clips, the vinyl sounds simply fantastic. Both lead-ins are quiet. Minimal static can be heard in between tracks on both sides. There is great channel separation, superb clarity and exceptional dynamism. A really nice copy.
Sleeve: MINT -
This shop-new sleeve looks superb! All four sides are clean and retain bright vibrant colours. The spine and all 6 edges are without wear. The corners are sharp. Very difficult to find one in better condition than this.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve looks great. If not for a couple of tiny scuffs to the edge it would be MINT!
Additional Details:
Before the audio test was performed the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity anti-static inner sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
