Description
Purchased in the secondary market advertised as being excellent following my own appraisal I would agree. I played the album front to back through the Grado’s and there was surface noise with an occasional pop or click. I was tempted (and still am) to clean it with wood glue to see what this vinyl really has in it but I’ll leave that to you. Numerically I score this vinyl an 83 which I believe falls within the excellent category.
The cover is also excellent although I believe it is a higher quality than the vinyl and numerically score the cover an 86. There is wear within the corners which I attempted to capture. There are also four small creases (less than an inch) that run off of the spine into the left side of the cover. There top of the gatefold does show some wear in the seams and the bottom of the gatefold has a small split/start of a split on the rear (about an 1”). Finally there is a small bump within the front cover (within the black smoke coming out of the 2nd stack from the right) which although it essentially blends into the background it is there upon inspection.
Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard inside of a Whiplash record mailer with the vinyl outside of the jacket. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
