This auction is for an EXTREMELY RARE factory sealed TRUE 1st US Pressing of Pink Floyd "Atom Heart Mother" released in 1970 by Harvest Records SKAO 382. This album up for sale is the VERY FIRST PRESSING of this classic LP. The 1st pressings were unique. The title of the album was actually on a sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap. Also, the sky on the cover is a light blue, not the bright blue-green you see in the second and third pressings. This is GUARANTEED to be a first pressing or your money back! See the photos and you can see this sticker on the front cover of the ORIGINAL, SEALED SHRINKWRAP. The sticker is on the OUTSIDE of the shrinkwrap which indicates this is a true 1st pressing. ONLY THE FIRST PRESSING OF ATOM HEART MOTHER HAD THE LIGHT BLUE SKY AND NO TITLE PRINTED ON COVER. THEREFORE, THIS HAS TO BE A 1ST PRESSING! The BUY IT NOW price is a BARGAIN considering the rarity of this album! The owner of a local record store estimated the value of this album in FACTORY SEALED, mint condition at $500. He verified that this is, IN FACT, an ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING of this album! Considering the rarity and the condition, he values the record at $500. He also wanted to purchase the album from me, so it is likely worth more than his $500 estimate. At the time, i wasn't selling. This is a progressive or psychadelic rock masterpiece from Pink Floyd. 1970 Harvest Records SKAO 382. The indicator that this is the true 1st US Pressing is the clear title sticker on the factory shrink with "STEREO SKAO 382" under the title. And the color of the sky on the cover. The first pressings have a sky with a light blue color. Second and third pressings have a bright blue-green color. Also, there is no sticker on the 2nd pressing and the 3rd pressing has the sticker info printed directly on the actual front cover. You don't find these SEALED first pressing very often. CONDITION: MINT MINUS; There is some aging on the title sticker which is evident in the auction photos. I have NEVER seen this album without aging to the sticker. VERY common for this album to have aging on the sticker. Otherwise, this album is in PRISTINE condition! The only reason i am getting rid of this album is for financial reasons.
