PINK FLOYD ATOM - 'HEART MOTHER'
This fine UK 1st pressing of their 5th studio album dates from October 1970 release on Harvest: SHVL 781
Both have 'The Gramophone Co..' rims and omit the EMI logo.
Side 2 has a continuous run-out groove of a dripping tap.
Matrix numbers: SHVL 781 A-1G & SHVL 781 B-1G
Stamper codes: 1,2/RD & 2/GA
Vinyl weight: 139g
Housed in a matt 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover.
Complete with its original poly-lined Harvest inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT +
This barely played disc has only a couple of tiny spindle trails around each immaculate centre hole. Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy which bear only some very faint marks from the inner-sleeve showing up beneath halogen light and a few harmless small scuffs on the run-ins. The sound is clean & unworn throughout with just some light vinyl background on some quieter passages, but no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions whatsoever.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A clean & strong example bearing just a small mark towards the upper edge on the front panel. There is light shelfwear to the lower right corner but all others are strong & undamaged. The rea panel is clean with two light wrinkles. Both panel inside the gatefold are immaculate. All semas are fully intact and the spine is unworn and perfectly worded.
