You are bidding for an original first pressing edition of Atom Heart Mother by the Pink Floyd

Please note I'm not a record dealer, I’m moving house and have decided that I will sell my record collection that has been sitting in a cabinet for the last 40 years !!!

Most of the albums that I have are first editions, ie I bought them as soon as they were released. That said, if you require any other info to clarify their autenticity, please ask !! I bought this album in 1970 more of less on release....at least before it become the iconic classic it now is.!

 

Hopefully I’ve listed all the necessary information below however if you have any questions or queries please email and I'll do my best to answer them. I've checked this against what the trade says is first edition, and it appears to tick all the boxes!

 

  • I would rate the condition of this album as very good. The vinyl is not warped or tarnished and is in clean condition.
  • The RIM Matrix info is SIDE 1 SHVL 781 A-1G, and SIDE 2 is SHVL B-1G. There are a couple of other hyeroglyphic stampings as well. The info on Gatefold sleeve denotes a First Pressing.
  • The labels on both sides are in perfect condition, with no bad spindle marking. the inner sleeve is still the original Harvest advertising other contemporary albums.
  • Record looks excellent.
  • This appears to be an original First UK pressing, sleeve printed by Garrod and Lofthouse. This is denoted by "7010TPS printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd Patent no. 943895 SHVL 781" appearing on the bottom left hand of the cover. (Gate-fold sleeve, as shown).There are scuffs and wear marks on the edges and spine, but the cover is in generally very good condition.

 

  • As I said, I'm not an expert on record conditioning, but looking at what else is on offer on Ebay, it looks as good !! As a 100% ebayer, i always try to be objectively truthful and honest in all descriptions. I will send out by the best value I can get for the postage charged.
