Description
When was the last time you floated along with Pink Floyd's "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast"? You now can with Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother.
I have around 800 vinyl record albums dating from the early 60's to the mid-80's; 95% in Mint or Near-Mint condition. I have the complete, or almost complete works of Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Led Zepplin, Queen, Heart, Blue Oyster Cult - I could go on and on. I have odd-ball records, such as picture disks from The Scorpios, The Beatles and solo albums by Greg Hawkes (Keyboards from the 80's band; The Cars). My albums have followed me all over the United States and S.E. Asia stored in customized crates made for me by a close friend of mine.
Today, in the digital age, I rarely listen to them. In fact, I don't even have a turntable. I thought; "Why not let somebody else enjoy them?" And that's what I've decided to do: Albums that don't sell on E-Bay, I'll find other markets. You get to snag 'em here first!
Flaws: Yes, let's have that conversation. I served in the U.S. Air Force. As a native Minnesota-boy, newly assigned to Guam, the USAF required that I identified all of my personal belongings. So, I used DYMO embossing tape to write: MHART in the upper left-hand corner. It satisfied their requirment(s). I hunted around on the Internet and discovered that WD-40 allegedly removes the tape simply by lifting one corner and giving it a quick squirt. I ran out, bought a can of WD and came back - and I lost heart. I don't want to do this to my collection. I thought: If the buyer wants to do that - that's a choice I have no business making. That's the only flaw(s) in my collection. The worst surface defects are probably lint and/or dust. If there are noticeable scratches, it will be noted in the description. I hope you enjoy the music as much as I have all of these years.
