Description
Pink Floyd “Giant Barn Dance” (PF 3077 A/B)
For auction is an original and very rare LP pressing made in Japan in 1977 or 1978 containing portions of Pink Floyd’s live performances at the Empire Pool, Wembley, London on March 15 and March 19, 1977 in support of their LP release “Animals”. Purportedly, the master tape(s) of the recording are not currently known to have surfaced, so this LP is the only known original source documenting audio from these Pink Floyd performances. I obtained this copy in the 1990’s and have kept it in climate-controlled storage with my media collection since that time. The album is in very strong VG++ condition. The cover has a couple of corner dings, and some minor creasing in 1 area, and some very light ring wear. The vinyl and labels are in excellent condition. On visual inspection, there are no visible scratches or marks, and the vinyl has a glossy shine. I no longer have a turntable or a record cleaner, and I have never played this copy. This LP has a rarity rating of 5 stars on the floydboots website.
Postage will be extra and added to the winning auction price. Record will be mailed in a 200-lb-test corrugated cardboard record mailer (Bags Unlimited) with 1/8” thick 200-lb-test corrugated cardboard filler pads, with the record outside of the cover. I will only ship by U.S. Postal Service, and the postage amount will be the exact U.S. Postal Service charge. eBay forces sellers to pre-select a shipping service, and I have this listed with Media Rate shipping, however I will ship by any U.S. Postal Service option the auction winner would like. I will not take responsibility for loss or damage in shipping if the buyer does not choose to add shipping insurance. Thank you.
