Full package.

Original UK 2nd press vinyl.

original, Midnight Blue, Outer sleeve: Very good plus condition.

Also included is 2 Floyd’s posters, in mint condition.

2 Crack Back postcard size unused stickers

Mint condition.

I did try to photograph of these rare matrix numbers but my camera is not posh enough to do such close up’s. sorry.

I have put a lot of information about this album, paying particular attention to the vinyl as it is a very rare collectors piece, and is without a doubt much harder if not impossible to come by.

Release Information: Second stereo issue with a very dark blue cover, a blue outline prism on the label, and "The Gramophone Co., Ltd." text on the label. Cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, Ltd.
Description: Gatefold cover.
Front Cover: Very dark blue cover with prism.

Cover Sticker: Some copies had a round purple title sticker on the cover.

Back Cover: Inverted prism.
Inner Sleeve: White inner sleeve with corners clipped. "Care of Your Record" in rectangle at top, "Thinking of giving someone a record as a gift?" in the middle, and "Important Notice" in a rectangle at the bottom. "Made in Great Britain" and patent number at the very bottom. Also found with a black polylined inner sleeve.
Inserts: Pyramid Poster: Blue pyramid. Matte. There is no catalog number on the poster.
Group Poster: A six-pane group shot poster in landscape style with "SHVL 804" in the bottom right corner. Matte.
Stickers: Issued with, Brown and yellow graphics stickers with "FasPrint permanent crack back patented" on the back
Vinyl Labels: Black Harvest label with blue outline prism.
Text around the top edge of the label starts at 10 o'clock and says:

The Gramophone Co. Ltd. All rights of the manufacturer and of the owner of the recorded work reserved.

Text around the bottom edge of the label starts at 8 o'clock and says:

Made in Gt. Britain
Unauthorised public performance, broadcasting, and copying of this record prohibited.

Only a small amount were ever pressed with the 1st press matrix before it was changed to the well known A3 - B3 pressings, and even a smaller amount have survived in this condition.

Issue number SHVL804 both vinyl and sleeve.

OUTER SLEEVE.

Gatefold outer sleeve, glossy, undamaged and in very good condition see pictures.

No unwanted writing and no splitting, spine uncrushed and fully readable.

INNER SLEEVE:

Original black patented inner sleeve, all intact.

VINYL: visual.

The vinyl: I am going to be really brutal in the description of the visual and play grading of this vinyl.

Visually: The Vinyl has three visual marks on it. The first is at the beginning of Money, this has no effect on the listening pleasure apart from a slight click for around three revolutions. again on the track Us and Them, there is a very, very slight mark that again gives a very slight click for a couple of revolutions.

The third slight mark is on the track On The Run, this slight mark is so slight that it has no effect on the reproduction of the music.

None of these blemishes cause any skips or jumps, and in no way spoil the listening pleasure of this extremely rare pressing.

The vinyl still has a high gloss surface.

The real issue that make this 2nd press so rare are the matrix stamps.

Note that this vinyl pressing still retains the A2 - B2 fist press matrix numbers and letters.

I have never seen a second press that still bares the 1st press matrix numbers and letters.

Packaging.

Vinyl’s and inserts will be packed separately The complete package will then be placed into a stiff card package and two stiffeners added.

I did try to photograph the matrix numbers but my camera is not posh enough to do such close up’s. sorry.

The package will be clearly marked

FRAGILE PLEASE DO NOT BEND OR DROP.

Buyers address will be put on both sides of the package and also my own address just to be safe in case, god forbid the album was lost in the post.
