Description
DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon. Early UK press with A3/B3 matrix and "EMI" label text. With gate fold sleeve with a suggestion of a blueish tinge, age appropriate white inner and 2 original posters. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double.
LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 804:
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973:
CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some light hairlines and scuffs. Played passages of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Music sounds really warm, clear, clean, vibrant and loud. It has a soft tick in the intro and through much of the first track on side 1. It also has some very light background sound in one section of the piano/vocal part of "Great Gig In The Sky". Cover is in very clean condition, pretty near to EX. It is firm and square and has a little less than light edge wear, light corner wear and minimal creasing. Spine retains great shape and has light wear. Inside of gate fold is very clean. Original posters are close to NM, if not NM. Very clean, unused and with minimal wear. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Really nice clean, original, complete early 1970s UK copy.
PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PINK FLOYD/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
