DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon. Complete early UK press with A3/B3 matrix and "EMI" label text.. With stickered gate fold sleeve, correct white inner, 2 original posters and 2 original stickers with "Permanent " to rear. Nice, clean, complete early 1970s UK copy, one of the best sounding pressings of DSOTM, if not the best and this copy sounds really clear and clean. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double.

CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG+. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Titled to light it shows a couple of light hairlines preventing EX visual grade. Played in its entirety a couple of times in recent days on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. One of the best sounding copies I have had of this. It sounds really clear, clean, vibrant and loud. I think i counted 3 soft ticks on side 1, nothing on side 2. Gatefold sleeve is in very nice clean condition. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear (one ding) and light creasing (one crease to rear lower left hand corner). Spine retains good shape and has only light wear. Inside of gate fold is very clean. "Permanent" Stickers are both EX, really clean, unused and little sign they have ever left the sleeve. Both posters are original, more matt than the the later glossy ones. Pyramid poster is EX, clean and white, unused. Pink Floyd poster is clean and has a small area of cellotape resiue to each corner where it has been hung previously. White inner has light wear, light yellowing and the start of a 1" split to centre of bottom edge. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Really nice clean, early 1970s UK copy.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
