Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon

(Harvest SHVL 804 UK LP 1973)

 

This is an original 1973 UK LP pressing. In fact it is the 1st UK pressing to have a clear prism on the labels & not a solid prism. It has a matt gatefold sleeve which has a blue tint to it. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. There is only one poster. The "band" poster. The other poster & both stickers are missing.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has A3/ B3 matrix stampers. The Harvest labels have "The Gramophone Co..." text around the upper perimeter, & under the "1973" on the labels. These are the next best thing to pricey "solid prism" UK copies.

 

Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the top & bottom edges. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light to mild ringwear, & rubbing wear, in some places too. VG condition.

Vinyl: Mild to more moderate sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are three light hairline marks too. VG condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, or very light, crackle in some quieter places.

The paper inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some mild ringwear & creasing but there are no seam splits. The Poster has some tiny pin hole marks in the corners. Otherwise fine. It is in Near EX condition overall.

 

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £7.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
