Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon
(Harvest SHVL 804 UK LP 1973)
This is an original 1973 UK LP pressing. It has a matt gatefold sleeve which has a blue tint to it. This indicates a very early pressing. It comes with its original company paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has A-3/ B-3 matrix stampers. The mother stampers are M 1 and RRA 1 respectively. The "Harvest" labels have the "EMI Records Ltd..." text around the upper perimeter. It has "The Gramophone Co..." text under the "1973" on the labels. It comes complete with both Fold-Out Posters. Unfortunately the stickers are missing.
This is a genuine early UK pressing. It has a blue tint sleeve & has early matrix numbers. It comes with both posters. Technically this is the 1st UK pressing to have a clear prism on the labels. It is the next best thing to very pricey "Solid Prism" UK copies.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the bottom edge in a few areas. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or mild ringwear in some areas. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some light or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light or mild pressing marks on Side 2. This is around the dead wax area. There is a very small pressing mark on Side 1 too. There is a very small 1.5 cm hairline mark too. VG+ condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition & show light or very mild spindle wear only. The company paper inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light to mild ringwear, fading & creasing.
The two Posters are unused & are in VG++ or Near Excellent condition.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are some intermittent light clicks near the end of the 1st track on Side 1. They do not last too long..
