Matrix Information: Side A SHVL 804 A-2 Side B SHVL 804 B-2

COVER: Original blue tinted 1st press gatefold in VG+ condition. No major defects, no splits or tears, normal but minimal shelf wear to corners and spine. Excellent example which has been checked by putting alongside another later pressing which is more 'black'.

INNER SLEEVE: Black poly-lined original with white manufacturing lettering/patents etc, VG++ condition, no splits or tears.

POSTERS: Both included, both MINT, clearly always kept in the sleeve.

STICKERS: Both originals (FASPRINT "CRACK BACK") included, both MINT always kept in the sleeve. These have the original 'PERMANENT S 260' writing on the reverse.

VINYL CONDITION: NEAR MINT - normal light, almost imperceptable, sleeve marks and nothing else. An excellent example which must rank with the best of these around. Audiophile Quality as expected.

LABELS: EXCELLENT, no major defects, normal snail trails around central hole, nothing serious.

A visual inspection of used vinyl records is almost always misleading so I play grade almost every vinyl I offer, before listing, on a quality turntable.

I do not have access to a professional cleaning machine but other record collectors tell me that vinyl does benefit from professional cleaning and I commend it.

Although it is extremely rare, there can be a difference between my descriptions and opinions; and an individual buyer’s expectations - so I have a clear and fair Returns Policy for added reassurance which is detailed at the bottom of all my listings.

In the unlikely event that you want to use this facility please read the details carefully first, and then contact me WITHIN 3 DAYS to agree the procedure. There really will never be a reason to have any problem with an item you purchase from me.

Good service occurs when problems are resolved. Therefore there should be no reason for negative feedback on either side if sensible solutions are agreed.

NOTES

Audio Reproduction On Vinyl: In my experience there is always an element of surface or background sound with audio reproduction on vinyl, even when new - very hard to imagine how there could not be when two solid surfaces come into contact with each other and are then amplified! In my opinion anybody who claims there is no surface sound, or ‘silence’, is probably mistaken. Almost all used vinyl has at least light surface scratches which are always visible when viewed under a bright halogen light. So if you are uncomfortable with a bit of light crackling it’s probably best not to buy second hand vinyl. In my opinion the light surface sound is more than compensated for by the clarity and ‘reality’ of the overall sound reproduction. I listen carefully to almost every album I list, before placing on ebay.

My Views: All of these comments contained in this listing are subjective, it is based only on my opinion and your expectations may not necessarily correspond with my standards. Insurance quotations to a value you specify in advance of shipping are available on request. Otherwise all shipping after my postage is at Buyers Risk.

PACKING & POSTAGE:  Because of the value of this item, it will be packed in a special "crate" to ensure full protection. Will ship to anywhere in the world BUT outside UK buyer must cover insurance costs as an extra. In UK, item will be sent "signed-for insured, special delivery."

RETURNS POLICY: I WILL ACCEPT THE RETURN OF ANY ITEM I HAVE SOLD ON EBAY SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
