And when I say "all of the deadbeats", I certainly don't mean EVERYONE on Ebay, unlike what one misguided soul thought (you oughta read his emails, they're quite comical!). But there are a small number of Ebayers who bid, win, and then drop out of sight. If this is you, please go look elsewhere.

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's get back to the fun!

Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon MFSL LP (NOT cd). Originally released in 1973, this is the Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs pressing from 1980, MFSL 1-017. LP gatefold jacket comes inside it's original (opened) baggie, with the Super High Fidelity LIMITED EDITION Pressing Enclosed! sticker on the front, in the top left corner. Also included is a list of Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs LP's, from MFSL 1-001 (Mystic Moods Orchestra) to MFSL 1-016 (Joe Sample), with Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon and Gordon Lightfoot's Sundown scheduled for "Summer 1979 release", and Al Jarreau's All Fly Home and Poco's Legend scheduled "for Late Summer 1979 release." Other side of sheet advertises Mobile Fidelity's high quality pressing.

A classic, which sounds even better in all it's audiophile glory!

LP gatefold jacket has some mild wear, nothing drastic. A little wear to the corner tips. Front cover has a 1/2" crease in the bottom left corner, a 1/2" crease in the top left corner, a 3/8" crease in the top right corner, a very, VERY SLIGHT crease along the top edge, slight 2 1/4" crease along the right edge. When the gatefold is opened: there are a few tiny corner creases, a few small, slight edge creases, a few tiny bubbles on both sides (as do the front & back covers). Front cover has some wear in the middle of the right edge. Back cover has a couple of tiny corner creases, a very, VERY SLIGHT crease along the top edge. Minor flaws. Nothing drastic. Overall, the LP jacket's condition would fall somewhere between Very Good Plus (VG+) and Near Mint (NM). Oh, and just a quick note - I only grade VG-, VG, VG+, and Near Mint (which isn't too often). I NEVER grade Mint, as I feel nothing is perfect, and I don't go for that "VG++++++" nonsense.

Visually, the record has just a few ultra-light scuffs - you have to look for them. I spotted a tiny bubble in the wax towards the end of Time (I believe). Nothing outrageous, nothing to get excited about.

I'm playing the LP right now on my Sumiko turntable and it sounds great! Ok, there IS a bit of soft crackling, a few pops, too, so I'd say it plays a hair or two away from Near Mint. I know how anal some audiophiles are, but they got NOTHING on me! And believe me when I say that this plays beautifully! An absolute sonic delight!

Just to let everyone know: I clean all my LP's on a VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine, to ensure the best possible-sounding listening experience for you!

All records come shipped in polybagged sleeves. I know, big deal, but I do this for extra protection.

U.S. BIDDERS: Winning bidder pays U.S. Postal Service shipping charges & has 2 options to choose from: $4 for Media Mail, which delivers in around 7-10 business days, or $8 for Priority Mail, which delivers in around 2-3 business days. When the U.S. Post Office raised their rates last year, I had to do the same. Insurance is optional, add $1.70 for items up to $50.

From U.S. bidders, I accept checks, money orders, and PayPal. Usually, the day after I receive a money order or PayPal, I'll ship the item. However, I have a bunch of stuff up on Ebay right now, all ending at around the same time, so it might take me 2-3 days to ship the item. If you decide to send a check, that's fine, too! I'll hold your check for around 2 weeks (10 business days, give or take a day or two) as it clears, and then I'll ship the item. NO EXCEPTIONS! If you can't wait 2 weeks, then sending either a money order or PayPal is your best bet, as the item will ship much sooner!

If you win my auction, PLEASE DO NOT USE EBAY'S CHECK-OUT SERVICE! I find it to be a pain. What you should do is:

1. You've won! Now relax. Take a deep breath. Don't email me! No, no, no! Get your fingers away from that keyboard! Step away from the computer. Now go watch a little tv. Have a glass of wine. You don't drink alcohol? Then have a cup of coffee. Decaf. Have a little snack. Settle down. Good!

2. I WILL CONTACT YOU FIRST. Wait for my email. I will email you with my name, address, and all of the auction info. I have a ton of auctions that just ended, so I might email you the night the auction ended, it might be the next day, heck - it might be two days later! I'm only one person, and I'm pathetically meticulous with this Ebay stuff, so PLEASE BE PATIENT!

3. After I email you, please email me back as soon as you can, with your name, address, the form of shipping you'll be paying for, if there's more than one option, the total $ amount you'll be sending, and let me know how you'll be paying (check, money order, or PayPal).

4. Concerning larger items where I do not know the postage just yet: once I receive your address, I'll pack that item & I'll find out the postage and I'll get back to you in a day or so.

IT'S SIMPLE!

Please don't email me 2 minutes after you've won the auction. Aside from fingernails across a blackboard, nothing annoys me more. "But I won & I want (the item) really, really soon! I gotta have it!" Again, relax. Initially, I will email YOU. Whatever it is that you won, you'll receive it soon enough.

International bidders may bid. From international bidders, I will ONLY accept either PayPal, or an international money order drawn from a U.S. bank in U.S. $ dollars. If you're from Canada, I can also accept a Canadian Postal Money Order.

If you're from outside the U.S. and you win one of my auctions, great! However, during the auction, please do not ask me how much the shipping costs are, because I DO NOT KNOW! I will say this, though: I WILL NOT OVERCHARGE YOU ON POSTAGE! For example, if someone in Japan wins an item and the postage costs $14.35, I will charge that person $15 for postage, as I round up to the nearest dollar, also covering a bit of my cost for time and packing. I do not understand people who charge $20-$25 to ship the same item, and I think it's disgraceful! Once the auction ends, please send me your address EXACTLY HOW IT SHOULD BE WRITTEN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE. I will then pack the item and I'll find out the shipping costs from my post office. I will then get back to you with all the information, including my address here in NY, the shipping costs, and the total $ amount due. This may take 3-4 days, as I have a ton of auctions ending all at once. Please be patient!
