Description
Increasingly hard to find early copy of this 1973 album with the solid blue triangle. A2/B2 matrix.
The cover is the original cover with the double opening gatefold. Ringwear is evident on the front and back but the inside is very good. Shelf wear but no tears.
There is no writing on the cover or the labels although some foxing on the labels can be seen
The original poly lined inner sleeve is creased around the patent numbers but there are no seam splits,which after 45years is some feat.
No posters or stickers.
The record itself has the miss -pressing fault at the start of track 1,Money ,on side 2, which was quickly rectified for subsequent copies.This causes a skip,some noise and clicks at the start for about 30 seconds.
There are numerous light marks on both sides which give rise to crackle in the quieter areas of the tracks and in the gaps. The vinyl still retains a lovely sheen and the marks are really only visible under strong lighting.
The vinyl itself is flat and, apart from the start on side 2, plays through with no skips or sticks.
I’ve played the album on my Gyrodek and it has crackles. It sounds great in the loud sections. I am being completely honest about this album as I value my feedback score.
It’s still a desirable album to own.
