Description: I have the pleasure of offering for sale on E-Bay the rare Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” on the very scarce and rare Harvest solid blue triangle label 1st issue 1973. This record comes from a family archive collection, which I am now putting up for sale, giving someone else the opportunity to purchase and own this rare Pink Floyd album.
Record Sleeve:
The gate fold sleeve is in very good condition it has some light rubbing wear and slight opening edge wear and ring wear, no writing, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. – (See photos for information).
Label:
The labels are in excellent condition Black with Silver writing, labels show little wear, with no writing or rubbing. First issue solid blue triangle, with 1st issue matrix identification marks A2-B2. The record shows very little spindle wear. (see photos for information)
Record:
Record condition report I have played the record twice both sides and it has very good to excellent audio sound quality lies flat on the turntable, the record has some minor faults. On side I track 2 (Breathe in the Air) there are two small scratches about 10mm in size causing light crackle and pop sounds, no other marks or other sound faults on side 1 of the record, other than track mentioned. Side 2 has a minor fault on the opening first track (Money) intro, the stylus had previously broke whilst the record was just starting to play on the intro to side 2 first track Money, this broken stylus fault caused a groove scratch causing the record to jump a few grooves on the beginning of the track (Money). There is a light crackle sound on side 2 only audible in the quiet passages, other than the faults mentioned the record has excellent grade sound quality. The black vinyl is very bright with a wonderful sheen, an excellent sounding and looking record in the condition mentioned. The record has none of the inserts issued with this first issued album, comes in a replacement black poly-lined record inner sleeve. (See photos for more information)
I am not a professional record dealer just selling family owned records, and have tried to give a full and honest account of the records condition. My grading of this record is very good to excellent grade side 1, and very good to excellent grade side 2 with excellent sound quality - minus the previously mentioned faults -, and with very good grade for record sleeve, and excellent grade for Harvest labels. A rare excellent example of Pink Floyd’s first issue of Dark Side of The Moon LP, I will start this auction at £9.99, sold with no reserve and let the E-Bay market decide its value. Get yourself a rare Pink Floyd first issue on the Harvest Solid Blue Triangle label.
Happy Bidding!!!

The Record Grading
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...
NEAR MINT: A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
