Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon UK Vinyl 1973 3rd ISSUE A3/B3 posters/stickers

reference a match with this listing on Discogs - release/15370292-Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon

This release is unique because:

- On the back top right corner (1E 064 o 05249) is centered between SHVL 804 and "stereo" (later issues have it left aligned).

- Each label has "Made in Gt Britain" printed twice, below the triangle and in the rim text (later issues do not have "Made in Gt Britain" below the triangle).

- The labels credit "The Gramophone Company Ltd" below "Side 1" & "Side 2", yet credit "EMI Records Ltd" in the rim text (earlier issues credit "The Gramophone Company Ltd" in the rim text).

Note: The 3rd pressing should have any variation of A2/B2 A3/B3 A3/B2 or A2/B3 stampers in the run-out and "EMI Records Ltd" in the rim text. Variations with greater numbers than 2 or 3 in either of the stampers indicate a 4th pressing or later.

Genuine release from 1973 with A3/B3 matrix numbers, WORLD COPYRIGHTS on labels  -  unlike many others I have seen listed (and sold!) erroneously on eBay recently which are purporting to be 1973 releases but are later issues. I cannot add a link but please check this, and others, for validation at pinkfloydarchives ...

This Copy:

• Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout, variant 1): SHVL 804 A-3
• Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout, variant 1): SHVL 804 B-3

The gatefold sleeve is nice, lovely blue/black with hype sticker, no major damage, just a bit of rubbing from its age. - please view all the photos - very nice inside gatefold

The 2  posters, very nice condition/not used....both stickers are  slightly faded but in excellent nick - SEE PHOTOS

Labels show a little marking around centre hole from past use and side 2 has a little creasing...

The vinyl on both sides shows a little wear and tear, the odd light scuff, a few signs of past use. Please view all photos...

It plays through really well. I heard some light crackle in some quiet spots, a few very light ticks on the odd occasion, the powerful bits sounded fantastic! All in all a really good set and a great pleasant to listen to copy...

Please view all the photos...

More vinyl listed please take a look; Floyd, Zep, Beatles etc
