DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd LP- Dark Side of The Moon. Fairly early UK pressing with A8/B7 matrix. Gatefold sleeve and correct white EMI inner. No posters, 2 stickers though they are affixed to the white inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 804 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. A few light hairlines prevent me from grading EX. Played lengthy passages on my Pro-ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds very near Excellent. Generally clear, clean and loud. Has a trickle of background sound (as usual) on "Us and Them". You will know how difficult it is to get a quiet playing copy of this nowadays.Cover is in top shape. It still nice and black and is very firm and square. It has minimal edgewear, cornerwear and negligable creasing only. Inside of sleeve is pretty much immaculate . Very clean labels. . EMI inner has moderate wear only and no splits. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Nice sounding and fantastic looking UK pressing of one of the greatest Lps ever. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
