Pink Floyd ?– The Dark Side Of The Moon

Matrix # SHVL 804 A-2/ B-2

Legendary LP and this is the highly sought after 'solid blue' triangle first pressing, which is complete with original 'blue tint' sleeve, correct poly-lined black inner, 2 posters and 2 stickers.

I won't bore you with my personal thoughts on this LP, suffice to say it is one of the best, most influential and timeless classics ever released. And here is a very rare first press, before they realised you couldn't read the credits on the label and changed it.

Condition:

Sleeve

Sleeve has no major defects, just some general light wear. VG

Posters/Stickers:

Very nice and have remained in the sleeve unused, so VG+

Vinyl

Visually this looks around VG, with some noticeable scuffs and scratches under light.

Audibly, the vast majority of the LP plays fantastic with no noise. However. there are two small scratches which unfortunatley cause repeating clicks, though absolutely no skips or locked grooves. The first is right at the start and clicks through the intro of the first track, but is gone by the time the song starts properly. The second is at the start of time after the alarms go off. Again this goes before the songs starts properly. Otherwise the LP plays really well with only the occasional isolated bit of noise here and there. But please note those two areas mentioned do have a repeating click.

So I would grade the audio as VG- (Very Good Minus) overall, certainly not for you if you want a EX/mint copy, or one that sounds like a CD, but still a very enjoyable listen.

Postage: - only sent with tracking - £5 within the UK and £20 worldwide for any number of LPs.

Grading: - I don't use M or NM/M- for second hand records, the best grade they can get is EX.

EX      - Pretty much faultless
VG++ - Very nice copy, nothing major at all, perhaps a tiny bit of surface noise.
VG+   - Very nice copy still, but will have surface marks and occasional surface noise.
VG     - Will have some marks and minor scratches that will cause a little noise, but nothing very significant
VG-    - Will have more significant noise, but certainly not trashed. I will describe any records graded as VG- in detail.
