Pink Floyd Dark Side Of the Moon 1973 Gatefold LP Complete with 2 Posters and 2 Postcards  - EX+ Condition all round.

• Matrix/Runout Side 1: SHVL 804 A-11 4 HRM    
• Matrix/Runout Side 2: SHVL 804 B-11C 

From what I can find on Discogs and similar listings, this is a 1973 Re-Issue with barcode - I'm open to correction if you're 100% sure - but am taking the info I've been able to find as correct. Please do any reading up as needed before buying. 

Condition - Please read and remember this is a 44 year old vintage item! :) Pics and description are honest so please look & read in full. 

Vinyl - EX+

Audio Test: EX+  (Audio-Technica deck and Studio headphones) 

• EX+. Some occasional light  crackles and low level background noise on gaps/quiet parts of songs. 
• Fantastic sound quality and the Analogue mastering is great. 
• Subtle differences compared to the CD version, like the cymbal sounds sounding true-er 
• No loss of quality, no distortion. No skips

Visual grading under Very Bright spotlights: EX

• A small number of very light hairlines only 
• No deep scratches. 
• Great sheen. 

Labels  EX+

• Both labels excellent  

• No mould, scratches or marks. 

• Colours and printed text all perfect 

• Small amount of wear on spindle holes 

Outer Sleeve EX+

• Very light wear only - please see pics
• Edges and spine excellent with all writing perfect. 
• Has clearly been kept in a plastic sleeve all its life and very carefully handled. 

Original Posters x 2 NM  and Original Postcards x 2

• Posters have no visible marks that I can pick out. They have never been wall-mounted as they have no pin marks or blue tack marks. They don't appear to have been framed as they have no sun-fade. 

• Postcards have not had their backing removed, have no pin-holes or blue-tack marks so again have not been mounted or kept on display. 

• I've placed both into a PVC sleeve to prevent them being marked or soiled with finger prints. 

Vinyl Care/Preparation

• I deep clean (By hand) every vinyl listed using L'Art Du Son cleaning solution and a good quality goat-hair vinyl brush. This removes old grease, dust etc. to improve the playback quality. This does sometimes leave residue marks, but these don't affect play. 

• After thorough careful cleaning with the brush, liquid is vacuumed off using a soft-rubber edged device, so the residue does not stay on the vinyl in most cases. 

• Once carefully dried I 'buff' the Vinyl using a very soft cleaning-cloth, then place it into an anti-static sleeve. This sleeve is supplied with the Vinyl you buy. 

•  I also carefully clean and dry the Vinyl outer sleeves to remove old finger marks, dirt and dust. Once done the sleeves are placed into a PVC sleeve to keep them nice and clean, they are shipped with the plastic sleeve. 

•  Vinyls are then listened to end-to-end before grading, in order to make sure they don't skip etc. BEWARE VISUAL-ONLY GRADINGS...some Vinyls that look Near Mint to the eye have skips, others that look marked play near-perfectly. I've learned that you can't grade a Vinyl without listening to it :) 

•  Finally, I take lots of pics and rip the Vinyl to Hi-Res digital format. 

•  All of the above is done to help buyers be sure of what they are getting before they spend hard-earned money! For this reason, I am not the cheapest on eBay and don't want to be. All sensible offers considered but please don't expect me to give them away :)

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G)

Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
