Second Issue.
These copies were produced for a short time only, between first pressing and first repress, featuring earliest use of the new black Harvest "blue outline prism" label design. These early transitional pressings, still have on labels the rim text starting as "The Gramophone Co. Ltd", and have been found with vinyl matrix A2/B2 or A3/B2 or A3/B3.
Gatefold cover of these copies come with two shade of color: very dark blue or black. Many copies have been released with a sticker on front, although some do not have it.
ABOUT THIS COPY
Matrices and mother/stampers: Matrix / Runout (Runout, side A): SHVL 804 A-3 - 2/RPM Matrix / Runout (Runout, side B): SHVL 804 B-2 - 2/AA
The gatefold sleeve is solid, nice inside; with just a bit of corner/edge rubbing and handling / storage wear...very nice all round - see photos
EMI inner sleeve, intact and clean
Has 2 glossy posters (band and pyramids - correct cat. no and colours for first year press) - both in excellent 'unhung' condition
..AND... 2 original stickers intact , just a little fading and some creasing
Labels on both sides show some light signs of use, bit of spotting, no major marks or writing though
The vinyl is generally clean ; no deep scuffs/prominent marks or feelables - a few very light usage marks / hairlines...and a slightly more visible scuff mark on side 2 - There is Nothing that causes any issues, plays with no jumps or sticks and is super for its age
There is very little background noise to detect, there are crackles a bit at build ups and quiet sections etc., as you would expect, not at all overpowering though - overall it plays to a great standard, an enjoyable listen that nobody could be disappointed with imo.
