Description
Pink Floyd Dark Side Of the Moon A3/B3 3rd Issue 1973 vinyl complete, 2/2 mother
Nice set from first year of issue …and a good listen!
Ref a match to this discogs listing - /release/15370292-Pink-Floyd-The-Dark-Side-Of-The-Moon
Note: The 3rd pressing should have any variation of A2/B2 A3/B3 A3/B2 or A2/B3 stampers in the run-out and "EMI Records Ltd" in the rim text. Variations with greater numbers than 2 or 3 in either of the stampers indicate a 4th pressing or later.
ABOUT THIS COPY
Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout, variant 1): SHVL 804 A-3 Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout, variant 1): SHVL 804 B-3 Mother indicators 2/2 - see photos
The gatefold sleeve is solid, nice inside; a bit of corner/edge rubbing wear. Very good condition
Has 2 excellent condition glossy posters (band and pyramids - correct cat. no and colours for first year press)
There is a black inner sleeve which has the 2 stickers stuck on it - see photo
Labels on both sides show very little signs of use, no marks, writing etc.
The vinyl is very clean overall, no scuffs/prominent marks - a few usage marks / hairline surface lines. Nothing that causes any issues, plays with no jumps or sticks
There is a little background noise, crackles a bit at build ups etc., which is usual for a copy of this age; the quieter parts have a bit of occasional noise - overall though it still sounds fantastic. A nice listen.
