Description
Up for auction is a Pink Floyd "Dark Side of The Moon" LP re-issued on Capital Records in 1993 (CR-1-017 -- 068 1046602 A/B Matrix). This is a clear wax vinyl pressing. Vinyl has been play-tested and is graded by the goldmine standard, I tend to grade on the conservative side.
Vinyl: (SOLID) VG+/VG+ :: Vinyl has been play-tested and sounds great. There is some light surface noise throughout, but never overpowering. The most noticeable noise occurs briefly after the lead-in on side 1. Visually the record looks very clean -- highly glossy and shows minimal signs of wear. I examined the record under very bright lights and the record is very clean and glossy and free of scratches and scuffs, and the labels are clean on both sides with no spindle wear and free of any wear.
Jacket: VG++ :: Non-gatefold jacket is in excellent condition with only faint edge wear and no ring wear. One light bend on the top seam about 5" from the top right corner, but that's it. Otherwise the cover is glossy and clean with minimal wear. The spine is clean and clearly legible.
One last thing about this record, on the bottom of both labels it says "Airplay Use Only". I'm assuming that this was a promotional copy, but I'm not 100% sure. This does not come with the posters 7 stickers. Regardless, this is a rare pressing on this record and it should make a welcome addition to any collection.
